BTS Sky Train Bangkok most important BTS Stations

In this video, I will explain the most important BTS stations relevant for tourists.
I will start with the Sukhuvit line from north to east, in reality more south than east.

N8 Mo Chit Station:
Here you arrive when you come from Don Muang Airport with the A1 Airport bus or you can take the A1 Bus to the airport for 30 Baht. Take exit 3 if you need to take the A1 Bus or another bus departing from there.

You can take the MRT underground train from here.
On Saturdays and Sundays, you can visit the famous Chatuchak Weekend market.
If you want to go to IMPACT for an event or exhibition, take exit 4 and walk to the parking lot behind the entrance 3 of the MRT station. From there you can take a minivan for 32 Baht.

N3 Victory Monument Station:
From here, a lot of busses and mini vans going in nearly all directions.
N2 Phaya Thai Station:
From here you can interchange with the Airport Link to Suwanabhumi Airport

N1 Ratchatewi Station:
From here you can walk to the famous Pantip shopping center, known for all kinds of computer, computer parts and electronics.
You can also take a motorbike taxi for 20 Baht to Pantip.
An insider tip: There is a Restaurant right next to the BTS Station, TS Cuisine, reasonable prices and delicious food.

Siam Station, Central Station:
From here you can change the sky train to Silom Line.
Siam is shopper’s paradise. Here you can explore Siam Square, Siam Center, Siam Discovery and Paragon.
From here you can also take the sky walk to Central World.

E1 Chit Lom Station:
From here you can also take the sky walk to Central World.

E3 Nana Station:
Nana is famous for Nightlife, Hotels in all price categories and Guesthouses.

E4 Asoke Station:
From here you can interchange with MRT underground train, enjoy the nightlife at Soi Cowboy or go shopping at Terminal 21.

E5 Phrom Phong Station:
Another great shopping place is the EM District with hundreds of shops and restaurants.
Don’t miss the Quartier Water garden.
From there, you have a great view down to the BTS.
Not far from the BTS station is the newly opened Dinosaur Planet.

E7 Ekkamai Station:
From here you can catch a Bus to Pattaya.

E9 On Nut Station:
Here you have direct connection to Tesco Lotus supermarket.

E12 Udom Suk Station:
From here you can get a free Shuttle to Mega Bangna, take exit 5

E13 Bang Na Station:
This is the station if you want to visit BITEC, Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Center.

This was an overview of the station of the Sukhumvit line.
Now let’s take a look of the most interesting stations of the Silom Line.

W1 National Stadium Station:
Here is the MBK shopping mall. Here you can get everything from clothes over bags, mobile phones and souvenirs.
At most shops there, you can bargain. But be careful, not all items there are genuine.

S2 Sala Daeng Station:
From here you can interchange with MRT underground train, enjoy the nightlife at Patpong or explore Patpong Night Market

S6 Saphan Taksin Station:
From here you can take a boot and explore the Chao Phraya river, go to wat Pho and visit the sleeping Buddha or visit the grand palace.
In the evening, you can catch the free shuttle boat to the night market of Asiatique with the giant Ferris wheel and lots of restaurants.
