BTS（防弾少年団）、新プロジェクトが始動！ 「Smeraldo Books」っていったい何

韓国の大人気ヒップホップグループBTS（防弾少年団）が、先日、新しいツイッターアカウントを開設。新プロジェクトが動き出したようだ。

1月6日（日）、BTSの新しいツイッターアカウント「＠Smeraldo_Books」が開設された。

この「＠Smeraldo_Books」とは、「バンタン・ユニバース」の一部のようだ。

では「バンタン・ユニバース」とは何か？

「バンタン・ユニバース」はBTS（防弾少年団）が所属する事務所BigHitエンターテインメントによって創られた、もう一つの世界で、BTSのメンバーたちからインスパイアされているという。BTSのメンバーそれぞれがキャラクターとして登場するストーリーシリーズだ。

BTSのメンバーは本名で登場するが、ストーリーは、現実とはまったく異なるフィクションだ。ミュージックビデオに加えて、短編映画、短編小説、ポスター、アルバムノートなどで描かれる。今回、登場した「Smeraldo Books」は、このバンタン・ユニバースを拡大するプロジェクトのようだ。

「Smeraldo Books」
ツイッターアカウントは次のように説明している。

「『Smeraldo Books』は、『伝えられなかった真実』という花言葉を持つ花スメラルドから名づけられました。スメラルド・ブックスによって作られた本を通して、真実を届けることができるように最善を尽くします」と説明している。

ちなみにスメラルドは、実在しない架空の花で、バンタン・ユニバースでのみ存在する花のようだ。この花は、2013年6月12日、BTSのデビューと同時に発見されたと設定されている。\
