The “Jungkook Sweater”

Jeon Jungkook, also known as the god of sold out products, has a sweater named after himself: The Jungkook Knit.
Jungkook is well known for causing all the products he uses to be sold out.
Here are just a few of them:
The most recent one, this Satin Shirt, that he wore during a performance in Japan. The shirt sold out shortly after that, despite it’s price of $695 USD.
The Downy fabric softener.
After mentioning this fabric softener, the product quickly sold out. Not even Jungkook was able to buy it after that.
This led to a collaboration between Downey and BT21.
That’s how the “Downy Adorable BT21” limited edition was released, which is only available in Korea btw…
Now back to the Jungkook Knit.
The brand is called UL:KIN and it’s designed by Lee SeongDong.
BangtanTV posted a video from 2018 KBS Music Festival rehearsals where Jungkook was seen wearing the sweater.
He also wore it in 2017 during GAYO Track 7 episode.
The sweater is coming back for a special restock holiday sale.
UL:KIN announced this by uploading a picture of Jungkook wearing the sweater, they named it the “Jungkook Knit” and they also featured him on their website.
The sweater costs 199 000 won and the preorders end on January 5.
One fan commented: “I’d buy it if I had Korean cash lying around.”
