K-pop royalty BTS will appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on February 24. In addition to performing, they will take the New York City subway and go on a tour of the city’s most iconic spots while answering questions from fans, the show confirmed. The special episode, which has been pre-recorded and will air on February 24, sees the band being interviewed while riding the subway, answering a selection of questions submitted to the show on social media using the hashtag #FallonAsksBTS. They will also visit various city landmarks, such as the legendary Katz’s Delicatessen, as well as “take over Grand Central Terminal,” Fallon said in a statement.”We wanted to do something special for BTS and, at the same time, celebrate New York City. BTS really knocked it out of the park. You’re not going to believe how big and fun their performance is,” he said. The show is reportedly one of the most high-production episodes the show has ever released, according to Gavin Purcell, the showrunner for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”In terms of the production side, this [episode] was a pretty heavy lift. I can’t tell you how many people went into the making of this—it was the entire staff rallying together to make this really cool show,” Purcell told Rolling Stone.”And on the BTS side, it was amazing to see how they rallied and how hard they worked. That’s something their fans know, but not only are they incredibly talented, they’re also so hardworking and humble,” he added. The band will reportedly be performing a new song on the show, according to Rolling Stone. The K-pop act has been doing the rounds on various major U. S. television and radio programs following a first-ever performance at the 2020 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles last month, which saw the band become the first Korean act to perform at the show. Last month, BTS also appeared on James Corden’s The Late Late Show in LA where they performed latest single “Black Swan” for the first time. They also dropped by the iHeartRadio studio for a live Q&A with the radio show, talking about the Grammy Awards performance, the upcoming album and dream future collaborations, which included Brad Pitt. The North American leg of the band’s concert tour kicks in California on April 25 and continues on selected dates through June 6, where it concludes in Chicago. The new BTS album Map of the Soul: 7 is out on February 21.

How many piercings does BTS have?

Recently I made a video about the fact that Jungkook wore a nose purifier and fans thought he got a nose ring.
So, I decided to make a video about BTS members’ piercings.

Jungkook

Jungkook used to have 8 piercings.
Three lower piercings on each ear and two Helix piercings on his right ear.
But, at the M2 Genie Awards in August 2019, Jungkook was seen with a fourth ear piercing on his left ear.
While we can’t know for sure how many piercings Jungkook has,
What we do know is that he has at least 9. At least for now…

J-Hope

J-Hope is the only member who has no piercings.
“I already made a promise with ARMYs to not get my ears pierced” revealed J-Hope.
Another reason Hobi didn’t pierce his ears includes his father’s wish against it
And maybe, …just maybe, it’s because he is too scared to do it.
Since we all know that J-Hope is not the most courageous member.
But recently J-Hope revealed that he might break his promise after all.
He said:
“It might be hard to keep that promise though…”
“Because I’ve been giving more thought to it.”
“I’m kind of undecided now. It’s complicated…”

Jimin

Jimin has 5 piercings: two on his right ear and three on his left ear.
Fun fact: Jimin pierced his ears for the first time because of V.
And it’s not what you think.
In a Q&A, Jimin revealed that he first pierced his ears shortly after he moved to Seoul.
He was supposed to meet up with V, but V didn’t show up because he was sleeping.

Jimin waited a few hours for V, when he came across an earring stand.
So, he impulsively decided to pierce his ears.
“I had nothing else to do, so I though, ‘Should I get my ears pierced?” he revealed.
But as he stated, he probably won’t pierce his ear again, since they don’t heal very well.
“It didn’t really hurt. I always wanted to get one on my Helix, but I can’t since my ears don’t heal well,” he said.

Suga

Suga has 5 piercings: three on his left ear and two on his right.
He also used to have a Helix piercing pre debut, but the hole has likely closed by now since he hasn’t been seen with it in a while.

RM

RM has two piercings: one in each ear

Jin

Jin also has 2 piercings, but unlike RM, both of Jin’s piercings are on his left ear.

V

V is in the 5 piercings club.
He has three on his left ear and two on his right.
And even though he doesn’t have the most piercings,
He still managed to influence Jimin to get his ears pierced
…unintentionally, of course
…because he’s such a great friend
