Back in 2016, Kim Taehyung started using “borahae” which means “Purple you” to express his love for army
According to V, he chose this phrase because purple is the last color of the rainbow
So it means he will trust and love army for a long time
However, a few months ago, a nail polish brand filed for a trademark on the phrase ‘Borahae’
In other words, they are trying to claim the phrase V made famous, as their own
Obviously, this made BTS fans quite unhappy
The trademark hasn’t been granted yet
So the company received over 4000 complaints from fans in a single day
Fans also tried to contact BigHit, asking the agency to look into this
Also #ProtectBorahae started trending on Twitter
