There was so much more I wanted to say about this song esp after rewatching it again.
This is music we could relate to. Feeling alone even when we know we have people around us who care. It was a song about self reflection. He talks about how he puts himself down and that anxiety will always be part of us, like a shadow. Rain is mentioned a lot in his MONO Playlist and in this song, it seemed as if rain was used to cover up things. People hide under umbrellas to hide their “ugly” side which is why in the animation, they had ugly faces. We all want to be freed and be loved just like RM. Let’s remind ourselves that we are loved and that there are many beautiful things about ourselves.
