The law regarding the mandatory military service has been revised and it will now allow Kpop stars who are recommended by the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism to postpone their military enlistment until the age of 30
This affects BTS, since Jin is turning 28 in a few days and because of this new Military Service Act he won’t have to enlist in 2021
However, it’s up to Jin to decide if he wants to do his military service the next year, or wait for 2 more years
