BTS’ contracts will expire in 2024, HYBE is going to debut new groups, RM’s message to fans
BTS’ contracts were renewed back in 2018 and will last until 2024 when they will expire.
However, their contracts will probably be extended in 2024.
But, in BTS absence, HYBE has been preparing to debut 4 new groups, including in the US and Japan.
They will debut a boy group in Japan at the end of 2022,
A girl group in the US in 2023,
And 3 more boy groups which will debut new year.
Regarding BTS, a netizen posted online saying that the South Korean government wanted to see BTS’ impact with the Busan concert before they make a decision regarding BTS exemption.
But BTS cancelled their military postponement after the concert, and made the decision themselves instead.
And RM shared a message with fans at the end of BTS’ concert:
“If you believe in us and trust us, we will keep going and continue to share music with you. […] Please believe in us”
