In a recent vlive broadcast RM talked about ‘Map Of The Soul: 7’
and BTS’s Seoul concert cancelation
RM confessed that he felt powerless during the promotional activities
because they couldn’t interact with the fans
“there was no one there, only cameras” said RM
Then he continued:
“But I kept repeating to myself like a spell, we can’t lose our energy,
we have to be happy, we have to smile.
So many people are having such a hard time,
and we at least get to be on air.
I kept saying that and repeating it to myself.
If we are like this [without energy], it will make our fans who have been waiting so much for this lose their energy too.”
Then he went on to talk about the concert cancelation revealing that it was hard and that he felt powerless
“There were so many things we had prepared, we prepared for so long, we rehearsed for such a long time.
So I felt dejected, really dejected.
We were meant to show all these things to you.” RM confessed
Namjoon said that at times he would feel so angry like he was going crazy
He revealed: “All of the sudden, I’d start yelling and feel so much anger, because I was feeling dejected. I was upset. I was upset, and I felt like there wasn’t much we could do realistically”
Namjoon also revealed that the BTS members were startled when they first listened to ‘ON’
He was the only member who was optimistic about it
RM also said that they cried and laughed a lot while making this album
He also shared with us that Yoongi reached out to him seeking help for the English lyrics when he was working on ‘Shadow’
He said that Yoongi has a big heart for giving him credit for just a few lines in Shadow
