Back In July, V revealed in a comment on Weverse that he’s suffering from a skin condition called cholinergic urticaria.
He wrote: “I have a cholinergic allergy. I’m itchy, itchy”
V’s skin condition is a type of skin rush, also called hives and it manifests as small, itchy, red bumps.
It’s most commonly found in young adults and it’s triggered by things that make the body temperature rise like exercising, hot weather, hot showers or even stress.
The symptoms mostly include itchy red bumps, but in severe cases it may cause a stinging sensation, dizziness and even vomiting, difficulty breathing, abdominal pain, and more.
Usually the treatment for this skin condition are lifestyle changes to avoid triggering it.
But for people like V who can’t avoid exercising or other triggers, there’s medication available.
One army tweeted:
“so that’s explain why he doesn’t wears tight clothes and i always noticed him drinking lots of water in stages”
Another fan pointed out that one time Jungkook helped V during a Run BTS episode.
Knowing that V has cholinergic urticaria, Jungkook went to sauna in his place even though he didn’t want to go.
So, there’s no need for army to worry. V’s in good hands.
As always: be nice, be like BTS
