At the moment , k-pop stars can’t be exempted from the military service
Which is quite unfair since other people can
For example: award-winning classical musicians
If classical musicians n can be exempted, why not k-pop stars?
According to the Defence Minister nominee Suh Wook, the Defence Ministry should consult with the public to decide if BTS should be exempted
Most South Koreans want BTS to be exempted, since they can do a lot more good for the country as singers
