I don’t know if you’ve been keeping up with my community posts or not, but I’ve talked about this there. I’ve been getting copyright claims on old videos for a while now. And while that is not a problem on it’s own as I can’t make money from this channel anyway, I was afraid it could lead to videos getting blocked and my channel getting striked. One of my fears has come true. 2 of my videos [“BTS Converse High (Jin, RM, J-Hope Version) Jin Parts Only” and “All Jimin Scenes In All Korean BTS Music Videos”] recently got blocked worldwide. The most frustrating part is that the Jimin scenes video got blocked because I allegedly used content from BangBangCon??? I uploaded that video in 2017, BangBangCon happened in 2020, and the section that got claimed, which was part of the N.O music video came out in 2013??? Was 2017 me supposed to see the future and see that N.O would be used in BangBangCon in 2020, and therefore my video could get blocked??? Doesn’t take a genius to see this claim doesn’t make any sense at all and is unfair. I disputed it and it says Bighit will review it and get back to me in 30 days. But honestly I don’t have hope. If they cared about being just they wouldn’t have claimed the video with such an excuse of a reasoning in the first place. And with how sucky Youtube’s copyright system is, the claimant has all the power and creators aren’t being protected at all.
Anyway, I would say my main concern is for the FUTURE. It looks like this is going to continue happening, which is awful. It would be better if I had social media or any friends in the community or something, so I could make myself heard somehow. I think if this continues being an issue I might make a twitter. But I suck at social media and I don’t know how I could get anyone’s attention, especially with no followers. If you have any advice on this or about anything else regarding this situation, please please please write to me!
Once I figure things out a bit more or see how things are going, I might make a video to talk about this too.

Okay so now that that’s done, let’s start my usual ramblings about the videos I upload. This video is something very simple but also something I’ve been wanting to make since 2017. I didn’t make it till now because I was insecure about its simplicity. Even now I didn’t put it on Patreon for early access because of that reason. I think that was stupid. If I make something like this again, I’ll put it there. Most of my videos are a lot more elaborate, I’m allowed to make simple stuff or shitposts sometimes. Also I still have zero Patrons so I don’t know why I’m worrying about this stuff.

Connecting this with what I was talking about above, as I’ve said, I’ve long accepted that I can’t make money from youtube. But it would actually help me a lot to have an income from my hard work. Even if you can’t join, I would appreciate it a lot if you read my about section on my Patreon.
