남미 BTS 열광, 석달 노숙도 불사…“내 삶의 위안” / KBS뉴스(News)

세계적 그룹으로 성장한 K-팝 아이돌 BTS의 열기가 지구 반대편 남미 대륙을 흔들고 있습니다.
월드투어를 이어가고 있는 BTS는 브라질 첫날 공연에서 화려한 춤과 노래를 선보이며 5만 관객의 뜨거운 환호를 받았습니다.
석달 노숙도 마다하지 않는 남미 팬들은 BTS의 존재가 삶의 위안이라고 말합니다.
상파울루 이재환 특파원이 취재했습니다.
[리포트]
화려한 조명으로 가득한 브라질 상파울루 프로축구팀 경기장, 5만 명의 환호속에 월드투어에 나선 BTS가 현란한 춤과 노래를 선보입니다.
팬들은 노래를 따라 부르며 무대와 함께 호흡했습니다.
약 3시간에 걸친 공연은 남미의 열정이 어우러졌습니다.
[“안녕하세요. BTS입니다.”]
BTS의 이번 브라질 상파울루 공연은 2014년 이후 네번째입니다.
그만큼 브라질 뿐 아니라 남미 팬들의 열기가 뜨겁기 때문입니다.
석달 전부터 공연장 앞에는 노숙을 위한 텐트촌이 형성됐습니다.
칠레와 우루과이 등 남미 전역에서 팬들이 몰렸습니다.
[마리아/볼리비아 대학생 : “여기 있는 팬 60%는 볼리비아 팬입니다.두 달, 석 달 전에 왔습니다.”]
남미 팬들을 사로잡은 건 BTS의 인생역경입니다.
7명 멤버마다의 지나 온 삶이 교훈을 주고 삶의 위안이 된다는 겁니다.
[파비아니/브라질 대학생 : “한때 저는 인생에서 어려운 시기를 겪었습니다. BTS를 알게된 뒤 제가 살아가야 할 이유를 알게 됐습니다.”]
브라질 언론은 BTS 열풍에 대해 ‘K-팝은 힘’이라며 연관 산업의 효과를 보도하기도 했습니다.
BTS는 상파울루에서 당초 한차례 공연할 예정이었지만, 남미 팬들의 성원으로 이틀간 공연을 이어갔습니다.

the staff has to take care of the members like they were helpless babies. maybe because they really are helpless….and babies xD haha
bts members also act like they were disobedient little children xD
they never listen to their parents….aa..I mean staff members.
