엑소-갓세븐-세븐틴이 11일 오후 경기도 일산 킨텍스 제1전시장 5홀에서 열리는 제32회 골든디스크 시상식 음반 부문 본상 후보에 올라 시상식에 참석했다.
음반 부문 출연을 결정한 엑소-방탄소년단-갓세븐-세븐틴 등 네 그룹은 한 해 동안 높은 판매고를 기록했고, 많은 사랑을 받으며 왕성히 활동했다. 엑소는 6년 연속 골든디스크를 찾는 ‘단골손님’이다. ‘THE WAR – The 4th Album’으로 음반 본상 후보에 올랐다. 엑소는 27회 엑소-K로 신인상을 수상한 후 이듬해 28회부터 29회-30회-31회까지 총 네 번 연속 본상과 음반 대상을 모두 싹쓸이했다.
글로벌 그룹 방탄소년단도 골든디스크에 참석했다. 28회 신인상 수상 후 29회-30회-31회 음반 본상을 수상한 방탄소년단은 5년째 골든 무대에 오른다.
자체 제작 아이돌 세븐틴은 골든을 위한 준비에 한창이다. 30회 신인상을 수상하고 31회 음반 본상을 받은 세븐틴이 두 번째 음반 본상에 도전한다.
골든디스크는 국내에서 가장 오래되고 권위 있는 시상식이다. 이번 32회 시상식은 내년 1월 10일과 11일 이틀에 걸쳐 열린다. 10일 오후 5시에 디지털 음원 부문이, 11일 오후 5시에 음반 부문 시상식이 진행된다. 장소는 일산 킨텍스 제1 전시관 5홀이다.
