Recently, the hashtag #BH_Protect_YourArtists started trending in South Korea
Along with the hashtag, fans posted examples of BigHit staff members using BTS and being rude to them
I read an article about this and to be honest I don’t think this is true
I believe some “fans” cherrypicked some situations to prove their point
But I will let you decide
So here are the moments that made some fans angry:
The first example happened during BTS’s recent episode of Bangtan Bomb
In the video, Jin can be seen taking pictures with his camera
and in the background, a staff member was taking pictures of Jin
What some fans are claiming, is that the staff members are only working for BigHit so that they can get close to the members
Another example those fans give
is when a staff member took out her phone to take a close-up picture of Jin
Or when Yeonjun had to hold an umbrella for his manager, instead of the other way around
as commonly seen within the entertainment industry
They also pointed out that BigHit has guidelines on how their artists have to interact with the staff members
For example:
“If you make a mistake, say ‘I’m very sorry. I will fix it’”
“If staff compliments you, say: ‘thank you so much! I will work harder’”
Another example is when a manager hit Taehyung
While the manager actually did hit V, it was in a playful way
They are actually friend and BTS even sang at his wedding
So, what’s your opinion, army?
I’d love to hear it
And as always: be nice, be like BTS
