아이돌 그룹 방탄소년단이 미국 빌보드 뮤직 어워즈에서 한국 가수 최초로 2관왕에 올랐습니다.
세계적인 그룹들 속에서 주요 부문인 ‘톱 듀오-그룹상’을 거머쥐었고, ‘톱 소셜 아티스트’ 부문에서도 3년 연속 상을 받았습니다.

방탄소년단이 호명되자 객석에서 환호성이 터져 나옵니다.
방탄소년단은 미국 라스베이거스에서 열린 2019 빌보드 뮤직 어워즈에서 톱 듀오/그룹 부문을 수상했습니다.
방탄소년단은 팬클럽 아미에게 감사하다며 함께 공유한 ‘작은 것’들 덕분이라고 말했습니다.
[RM/방탄소년단 : “우리는 여전히 6년 전의 그 소년들입니다. 같은 꿈을 꾸고, 같은 걸 두려워하며, 같은 생각을 합니다. 계속해서 함께 최고의 꿈을 꿉시다. 여러분 사랑합니다.”]
방탄소년단은 올해 처음 빌보드 차트 주요 부문인 톱 듀오/그룹 부문 후보에 올라, 마룬 파이브, 이매진 드래곤스 등 세계적인 그룹을 제치고 수상했습니다.
또 ‘톱 소셜 아티스트’ 부문에서도 3년 연속으로 상을 받았습니다.
한국 가수 최초로 빌보드 뮤직 어워즈 2관왕에 오르며 미국 음악, 나아가 세계 음악 시장의 중심에 섰음을 인정받았습니다.

오늘(2일) 시상식에서는 방탄소년단이 미국 톱 가수 할시와 함께 공연했습니다.
특히 공연 순서가 마돈나, 머라이어 캐리 등 팝스타의 뒤이자, 피날레인 폴라 압둘의 바로 앞 무대로 배치돼, 방탄소년단의 영향력이 확인됐습니다.
