[THEORY] Jin might’ve decided to travel back in time to erase himself from the boys memories. (This explains why he disappears from photos) Why erase himself? Because Jin was the cause of many disasters. In the end, he realizes that no matter what he does, he’ll never be happy and he doesn’t want to lose his friends. He needs to accept what happened, forgive himself to love himself – hence the lyrics of “Epiphany”
