Purchasing concert tickets for popular groups is a tough job: even more so, if that group is K-pop superstars BTS. No wonder there’s a K-pop slang, “picketing,” meaning “blood-splashing ticketing!”
On Thursday, August 26, fans surged to the regular ticket sales for 3 Seoul concerts, titled “[LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF [THE FINAL].” The concerts take place on October 26, 27 and 29.
The ticket reservation was even more competitive than usual, since it was for the final concerts that wrap up BTS’ 14-month-long world tour.
Four of KOREA NOW crew joined the massive competition to reserve the tickets for these concerts. We used our office desktop PCs for the ticket hunt. The service opened at 8 p.m. Korea time.
