When you look carefully you will see under BigHit is Music and Artist for Healing. That says a lot about Hitman Bangs mindset. Obviously, Bang wanted a healthy atmosphere. Bighit gives more freedom than the Big 3, SM, JYP, and YG. EXO is an example of neglected by the company due to 3 lawsuits and all that. BTS is allowed to have complete right over their music while Soyeon from (G)-idle has done 90% of the producing while Minnie only wrote one song. Everyone in BTS has the rights to write lyrics and do produce even though literally all the producing is done by the Rap line. They can write sensitive topics in their music, not just songs about chasing girls or chasing ducks, whatever. Even though the Big Hit Producers like โHitmanโ Bang and pdogg are involved but BTS still gets to do what they want to do. BTS can choreograph their own dance this is sometimes done by Jimin and Mostly done by J-Hope. While other groups have to just do what they’re told to do and no say โNOโ. BTS can put their own creativity and colors into their own music while other groups just live in their reality of being able to nothing they want. While other groups are literally given a TED Talk by their manager or someone from the company what to answer and what to not, what to say, what to do, what to eat, what to dress in and so on. BTS can actually care about themselves, not like EXO where they were just pushed too hard every day resulting in Health issues. Deteriorating health in their 20s, Bad Not-taken-care-well injuries. BTS do work hard and sometimes go through their own limits like Suga composing all night long and Overworking themselves but at least they can talk about it and actually talk to the company about it and get some support. They still have to practice extra hard, You canโt be an amazing singer and dancer just by sitting on the couch.
The Company actually cares about them, Big Hit is a very nice company compared to some others even though there have been times were BTS was literally fainting and Required oxygen masks and all those medical things which aren’t pleasant. Mr. Bang actually cares about them like a Family where Lee Soo Man only really cares if the SM Stonks are rising. BTS can actually date even though they are really busy. They have to keep in quiet though since Mr. Bang ainโt gonna like it if it goes public since thatโs Mr. Bangโs Allergy: Scandals. But At least They donโt have some like YG which is a 7-year anti banning law after you sign the trainee contract (not the group contract). JYP has a 3-year No-Dating rule but at least JYP knows that their artists canโt be โforever aloneโ. Even though dating bans are literal myths at least Big Hit does not have one.
Even though There were hard times for BTS, we can at least thankful that they have a Company like Big Hit who can let them speak themselves. BTS is protected from Korean Media A K A variety shows. Bang made sure they have their own variety show, Run BTS and donโt have to do what they donโt want and get punished for some laughter and most important donโt get edit the way the show wants to portrait them.
I donโt see big scandals coming from them and they can be who they want to be. He is simply giving them the tools and support. He makes sure to talk to them and to know what is going on with them. He allowed them to collab with different artist even females. He is using their Photosessions for bonding time. The boys are always happy to go on vacation together. It’s obvious that there is work which has to be done but Bang tries to make it enjoyable. Bang puts a lot of value in teamwork that’s why they always said teamwork makes dream work. I think he rather tries to be a good role model and let them know their actions have an impact rather than forbid them doing stuff. He makes sure they talk things out and work things out thatโs why we see this strong bond between all of them.
