After the music video for ‘Butter’ was published,
Jungkook revealed that he only drank water for 5 days in preparation for the project
“I didn’t eat at all for five days during that time” he said

He even removed his “piercing” to prove it
Another fact you didn’t know about ‘Butter’ is that Suga and RM actually competed for the song’s rap lyrics
When they first received the song, its rap part needed some arrangements to match their own styles
So, BTS’ rap line which consists of Suga, RM and J-Hope decided to take part in writing the lyrics

“It was a competition, and I was lucky enough to get selected” confessed RM
“We always compete with each other when it comes to songwriting” said Suga
Yoongi actually studied English in order to write for ‘Butter’, since it’s an English song
“but yeah, I failed mercilessly.” Suga confessed
He also updated fans on the health of his shoulder
While he couldn’t attend the release of their album ‘BE’ due to his shoulder surgery, he recently stated:
“I think that my situation got better quickly because of the many people that worried so much for me.”
And revealed that he’s working hard at physiotherapy and that he’s focusing his treatment on exercise
