Hey everyone!
Whether you’re a K-pop fan or not, it’s hard not to find BTS “Spring Day” beautiful. When I wasn’t an ARMY yet, BTS “Spring Day” already touched my heart. The beat, the lyrics, everything — it is perfection.
So when I saw Sandrah Araja’s Kalimba cover of BTS “Spring Day,” I knew I had to do it. Even though I have not heard of Kalimba before, I purchased one and started practicing. My only musical background is playing the piano.
After days of practicing and waiting for my nails to grow longer (I even wore gloves for three days to “marinate” my nails in Castor oil), and several attempts to make this video (it took me over 100 retakes for two days due to uncontrollable circumstances, such as dogs barking, birds chirping, babies crying, cars honking, etc.), everything finally leads to this day.
My BTS “Spring Day” Kalimba cover may not be perfect, but I am so proud of myself!
