After it was revealed that, back in September 2020, a cosmetics brand filed for a trademark on the phrase V made famous, many BTS armies requested for the copyright to be canceled
And now, the company posted an apology
“We truly apologize to the fans that love BTS for causing concern”
They also revealed they have decided to give up copyrights to the term for the further development of Kpop
“Going forward, as Koreans, we wish BTS good luck in their future endeavors in spreading k-pop to the word” the company stated
