With the quality of MAMA deteriorating, what are the other crown jewels of the winter awards season? Why the Golden Disc Awards of course!

I wanted to see if the acclaim for the PERFORMANCES lived up to the acclaim of the awards themselves. Here’s part one of my analytic, somewhat shady, but most of all, tongue-in-cheek review for your viewing pleasure.

Part One reviews, NCT Dream, ITZY, GOT7, ATEEZ, AB6IX, TXT, SEVENTEEN & BTS.

It has become a consensus that MAMA has lost some of the magic that it used to have. However, the Golden Disc Awards have the prestige to snatch those ratings! They made efforts to put on a great awards show including staging surprises and a whimsical carousel!

Is it enough to take that crown for having show-stopping performances? I’m not so sure but they definitely tried!
