Jin is known to be friends with actor Lee Yi Kyung.
But in a recent interview, the actor said that he doesn’t invite Jin to his movie premieres.
Why?
Well, it’s because Jin is too handsome and let’s be honest…nobody likes handsome people…
Just kidding…
The actual reason is that he doesn’t want Jin to feel pressured to attend the premieres since he knows that Jin is busy and needs to rest as much as he can.
Yi Kyung revealed:
“I am aware that BTS’s schedules are packed until next year. [Jin] is too kind, so I don’t invite him because I’m worried he won’t be able to reject [even though he’s busy].”
“If he happens to have free time, he probably needs rest, but he might feel pressure if I invite him, so I don’t contact him on purpose.”
Jin and Yi Kyung first met 8 years ago as they studied acting together.
The actor said:
“After I was discharged from the military, I went to an acting school near my home at the age of 23. At the time, Jin was 18 or 19 and he went there to study acting while wearing his school uniform. We studied acting there together.”
“Even then he was famous for being handsome”
But after studying acting together, they went to different universities, so they didn’t meet for a while after that.
In 2018, both Yi Kyung and Jin went to the Mnet Asian Music Awards were they met again.
The actor revealed:
“I came off stage and Jin was running back behind the stage towards me.”
“He still remembered me,”
“I was grateful for that, because I know it’s not an easy thing.”
