Jimin revealed that during Blood, Sweat, and Tears era, he battled with extreme diets. He took it to the extreme, where he will pass out in rehearsals. But I won’t recommend this to anyone. Because this can be more harmful than doing good to you.

So what Jimin did was to basically eat 1 meal a day and he did this for 10 days. However, the meals were very short and little. It mustโ€™ve been even worse due to their tight schedule that they had during those 10 days. Practicing and dancing. Then he stopped.

The side effects to this diet are awful. They include: Easy bruising, lack of nutrients, increase in appetite, dull or ashy skin, worsened acne, hair loss, increased stress, wrecking of metabolism, and quick loss of muscle mass.

Many Armys who followed this diet complained about hair loss, and having thier metabolism ruined. So this will do you more harm than good.

An ARMY posted,

I’m speaking from experience. There was a time I decided to try out this diet too. While it didn’t got me weak to the point I’ll struggle to function properly, ( when it did to some others) but I did find that by the end of it my metabolism was a mess and I wasn’t getting the result I wanted. What I had in mind was the drastic weight loss, like 7 to 8 kilogram, like Jimin did, but mine was slow. So I decided to extend it and continued with it, and it ruined me.

Now Iโ€™d like to point out, that while people call this a diet, itโ€™s not. He was basically starving himself, an average male needs about 2,500 calories a day, and one meal cannot provide that amount at all, on top of that, he was burning off even more, with the hours of practiced Choreography.

Keep in mind that Blood, Sweat, and Tears was one of their busiest eras, and dieting with all the work they had, left him sick and on the brink of consciousness during filming.

Jimin has mentioned in a few interviews that thanks to the diet, he lost 15 pounds, but made him very ill, including passing out often during dance rehearsals.

After fans found out, they decided to try it out for themselves, which I repeat, do not try to do it, many began posting videos or telling stories of their attempt of the Famous, โ€œPark Jimin diet.”

and thatโ€™s just two of the many videos you can find on YouTube. Another video lost 40 pounds in one month, which isnโ€™t healthy, even if the weight improvements are massive.

Imagine having a social media platform, where fans who look up to you doing this, can you even imagine how crushing it must feel for Jimin to know that you and others are wrecking your health, just because he did it, or you wanted to lose weight. He probably won’t like it as an example for Armys to follow.

BTS said Love Yourself, not Lose Yourself.

Due to lack of nutrients and continuously hard training for extended hours he would often pass out and get nosebleeds, so please do not try this diet

Well for those who wanted to try this diet, This is not a healthy way to lose weight. That was bad dieting ways Jimin struggled with. Even he gave up on it, he said that he won’t go on unnecessary diets anymore, and just eat the food he likes.

If you want to lose weight, there are other healthy diets to lose weight like protein diet, or intermittent fasting, the one Suga does. So if you really wanna try the ones they do, try intermittent fasting.

Intermittent fasting can be effective, it is currently one of the worldโ€™s most popular health and fitness trends.

People are using it to lose weight, improve their health and simplify their lifestyles.

Many studies show that it can have powerful effects on your body and brain and may even help you live longer. It doesnโ€™t specify which foods you should eat but rather when you should eat them.

Intermittent fasting is simply an eating pattern that cycles between periods of fasting and eating. You can get the following benefits like: Lose weight, Build muscle, Feel better, Decrease the probability of getting cancer, Improve your brain, Lower your risk of type 2 diabetes.
