2019 was yet another year filled with large-scale accidents and challenges. Tensions have increased on the North Korean front with the collapse of the Trump-Kim summit in Hanoi, and the worsened Korea-Japan relations over wartime forced labor and Japan’s export curbs against South Korea has put the Korean Peninsula back into turmoil.
