Why YouTube Deleted Views on BTS’s music video, but not Blackpink’s

Blackpink’s ‘How You Like That’ music video came out and it broke the record for the most views in 24 hours
The song got 82.4 million views in the first day
while the previous record holder, BTS’s ‘Boy With Luv’, got 74.6 million views
How did Blackpink manage to break BTS’ record?
Well, both groups are incredibly popular and have a huge fanbase

But armies are not happy about the fact that YouTube seems to always delete views on BTS’s music videos, but not Blackpink’s
For example, the views from BTS’s ‘On’ decreased from around 83 million to 48 million.
35 million views disappeared just like that…
So, why did this happen?
When asked about it, the YouTube team answered saying that it’s normal to see views slow down, freeze, or adjust while they verify that those views are real and accurate.
Lots of fans weren’t pleased with that answer
I personally don’t think that YouTube is the bad guy
In my opinion, what happened is that some fans kept reloading the page
And while those views are counted at first, they were deleted after some time

So, if that’s the case, how did Blackpink manage to get so many views?
Well, I might be wrong and I definitely don’t have all the answers…
But it might be because a lot of fans are very active online right now
since they don’t go outside as much …for obvious reasons
But who knows, I’m not an expert
